Summer Beards

I have been a busy Bearded Lady lately, so I haven't kept up on this blog as I hoped I'd be able to.

Here are some fun summertime activities that you and your beard can enjoy!

• Bicycling: if your beard is long enough, you can tie it to your handle bars and enjoy some hands free cycling!
• Fishing: tie a lure to the end of your beard and you can relax on your boat while waiting for dinner to bite.
• Kite Flying: braid your beard into your kite string so you can read a good book or build a nice sand castle while flying your kite.
• If the beach is too windy, at least your face will be warm. If need be you can finger-knit your beard into earmuffs.
• And last but not least, (as pictured above) you too can be like Chuck Norris, and use your beard in battle.

Fun with Beards Blog 2

Here we are, with a whole new day of hairy fun! I was out and about with the family today, and saw some inspiring facial hairs, sparking a new list of idears. Here is today's list of:

What would/can you do with your beard?

• Grow it into a Fu Manchu and sign up for karate class. Make noises like Bruce Lee the whole time.
• Grow really long handle bars, twirl them with mustache wax and tie bows at the end;  the Man-version of Pippi Longstocking
• Grow a full beard, and shave designs into it, think like a basketball player.
• Strengthen your beard by allowing neighborhood children to do pullups on it.
• Grow it long enough to use as a scarf in the winter time.
• Grow just a long mustache, and wax into a villainous shape.

Fun with Beards

Today will be the first day in the series of "Fun With Beards." I, being a relatively hairless girl, have always had a strong envy of the stylings and amusements of beards. I have often daydreamed of the various things I would do with a beard if I were to have one. Here are some of those random thoughts. Please pass this along and lets make this into game!

What would/can you do with your beard?

• Enter a Beard and Mustache competition
• Stroke it thoughtfully
• Shape it into a nice necktie
